Will I be the only Muslim here to call out to rise against these terrorist threats?
Most of my muslim friends ignore the terrorists out there. In fact, there are more muslims dying by the terrorist’s hands than the the ammount of Americans getting killed. As a muslim, I am like everyone else, and I don’t like what these so called muslim extremists are doing. Should I protest against the extremists and show the true Islam that was once peaceful centuries ago?
It’s about time me and every other true righteous muslim should speak against the extremists who are taking the innocent lives away. Muhammed(pbuh) would never have wanted muslims killing muslims or any other innocent life.
My country already crushed these scum, the rest of them ran away to Yemen.

It’s about time the Muslims who are peaceful loving people stood up against the Muslim extremists.

r-ight. what about the fact your holy book indicates that those who will not submit to Islam are to be killed? Islam seeks absolution over humanity
Dan | Feb 07, 2010
Peace bro, am a Muslim too, and if i had the chance trust me, i would be the first in line to fight such diabolical extremist’s & terrorist, its a bit more complicated then, the with them or agents them mentality, who are they and what are there true agendas is the real question, and there Muslim’s only by cover, fake Muslims so to say, the leader’s anyway.
Nothing Islamic, no cause, just death and mayhem is what they aim for.
Bin Laden is one of the biggest lie’s humanity has been fed.

Not true what dan said, our holy book’s tech us to leave who every dose not accept Islam be… period.

I wish someone would…from the perspective of the average American, there is absolutely zero, I mean zilch, nobody who is Muslim decrying what is happening. There may be an occasional religious leader who gets in the paper saying something about the terrorists, but if I were Muslim, I’d be screaming at the top of my lungs to stop it!

I don’t think we should call them muslim terrorist or christians terrorist or hindu terrorist.A terrorist is a terrorist. Can you imagine the Germans in the second world war killed how many innocent Jews. They don’t use bomb they use chemical to kill them. That young Indian girl that killed Rajiv Ghandi with a bomb.So many cases to cite.Killing of any innocent people. Should be condemned.

Turkish girl buried alive for talking to boys

Buzz Up! Print StoryTurkish police have recovered the body of a 16-year-old girl they say was buried alive by relatives in an "honour" killing carried out as punishment for talking to boys. Skip related content

Turkish girl buried alive for talking to boys .The girl, who has been identified only by the initials MM, was found in a sitting position with her hands tied, in a two-metre hole dug under a chicken pen outside her home in Kahta, in the south-eastern province of Adiyaman.
Police made the discovery in December after a tip-off from an informant, the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet reported on its website.
The girl had previously been reported missing.
The informant told the police she had been killed following a family "council" meeting.
The death reopens debate over ‘honour’ killings in Turkey, which account for half of all the country’s murders.

Relationship help!!!!?
I’ve been going out with my boyfriend for 5 years this summer and well i guess we’ve been living together for 2 1/2 years at least. We have a great relationship and argue just like normal couples - we know we’re perfect for each other. We talk briefly about settling down and having kids ‘one day’ and it’s nice to think we want the same things.
HOWEVER… i’m 24/25 he’s 33 and lately i’ve been longing for us to start really thinking about taking the first plunge and maybe get engaged. Being older surely he’s though about this???
I cant describe how i feel but - part of me loves the thought of marring him - the other part of me is scared to. (i work in a bridal shop - the family dramas and stress bothers me!!) Every Christmas - birthday etc people say prior to these events …”oowww what do you think you’ll get” and i just shrug it off and say - i know it ain’t happening. These people know how happy we are and only assume he would ask. But he hasn’t hahaha - its obviosly not on his mind. I spoke to some friends and family and i was surprised to here they more or less hinted and begged. I couldnt do that - think it should be a two way thing - he should want too!!!!
My cousin cried on her bday 2 years ago when her now husband didnt give a her a ring for her bday. The following year he did…. mmm how romantic hahah. My best friend asked her now fiance and was rejected …3 TIMES!!! they’ve been together 8 years.
My boss pestered her husband and kept hinting… mmm again not me.
I worry that people seem to expect it now and i’m wondering - why hasnt it happened. If that makes sense. We’re so happy at the moment - i wouldnt change a thing. I fear he might be the kind of guy that would wait for me to mention it. He’s far too practical when it comes to money… he’s always thinking about his wallet. And we’re planning a big hol to florida this year with family with is killing our spending at the moment. Working in the profession doesnt help. I come home allllll wedded out!!! hahaha can drive you mad. So i know its not a case of feeling out of the loop. Over half the people i work with from designers to sales assistances aren’t married.
I dont want to push it i just want it to happen and maybe run off and have a little wedding - but at the same time i worry it just really isnt our time, maybe i’m too young…could we afford it?…that kind of thing. And lets be honest - its dame right frightening hahaha - i freaked when i was a bridesmaid 2 years ago!!!!
Ahhhh what is wrong with me hahaha. I put pressure on myself that he is older - surprised he isnt starting to feel like he should consider settling down. Maybe he needs more time with me. Guess we have all the time in the world.
I’ll tell ou whatI told my daughter. Think before you say yes. You spend your whole life with that one person so make sure hes making you happy. As far as money goes hun, all men think with their wallets.

Who is your favorite NBA team?
how many games have you gone to this season?
and how is your team doing this season?
I’m a Nets fan. Been one for my entire life. Grew up on Kendall Gill, Kerry Kittles, Keith Van Horn, Kenyon Martin, etc. Even tough they are on pace to be the worst team in NBA history, they still play hard and are in many games in the last few minutes. They hopefully will get John Wall with the #1 draft pick and sign a free agent (the team is really in need of veteran leadership).
Ranger19 - the Nets were beating the Celtics after 3 Quarters. They could take down NCAA teams, they aren’t that horrible. They have lost at least 7 games in the last couple of minutes after leading.
Denver Nuggets. I’ve lived in Colorado for over 10 years.
I’m full time at Colorado State, so I don’t make the 50 mile drive to Denver for the games. I can live with ordering a pizza and watching the game on Altitude and national TV when they’re on.
We all know how they’re doing right now, even with Melo out, but I’m still not sure they can beat the Lakers in a 7 game series. I’d like to see Martin stay consistent like he has in the playoffs and I’d like the see the bench step it up just a little more.

I’ve only been an NBA fan for 3 years, but all of it as a Nets/Knicks fan. My team is doing…well, you know how they’re doing, but I’m at a point where I just gave all hope and don’t care anymore. I’m optimistic about next season, if we get John Wall, sign a free agent or two (we have the most cap space in the NBA next offseason), and keep our core group, we can have a 40-50 win team.
Devin Harris
Free agent, like let’s say Joe Johnson

the Bucks…I don’t go to the games, wish I did.
I haven’t seen a championship, and know I won’t this year. However, for the first time in a few years I see hope. And actually the fight they showed last year got me excited for this year, but I hadn’t felt all that excited since TJ busted his spine in the middle of his rookie year (man though…TJ’s oops to D-Mase were things of beauty.) Bogut’s come into his own (actually started showing it last year before he got hurt), Jennings is the best passer I’ve seen wear a Bucks uniform in a long time, so we have the makings of a new Big 3…just need to identify that third guy, preferably Mike Redd’s replacement (and preferably someone who doesn’t injure himself dunking…man I wish Redd got traded instead of Ray)

I’m a Boston Celtics fan. I admit I jumped on the bandwagon, but I’ve stayed on and will continue to stay on for the rest of my life. As for games, well I’m kind of limited living overseas but I try and catch as many as possible when they are televised here. We’re currently 32-16, kind of going through a rough patch at the moment. We had a real eye opener yesterday against your Nets that scared me a little. Definitely some problems to work out over the All Star break.

Craigslist/Ebay Question?
hi guys. i have a 2 month old ps3 slim that i would like to sell. i also have 20 games to go with it including (cod4 cod5, gta4, resistance fall of man, resistance 2, mgs4, resident evil 5, rainbow six vegas 1&2 and more. how much do you think i should sell this all for?
$600. Easy
Bob | Feb 04, 2010
Well, figure out how much you paid for it. Then decide how good of condition it is in. If the game cost $20 and there is a scratch on the disk, then sell it for $8. If the game cost $20 and you played it like once, then $15 is acceptable. For the console itself look at how much others are selling. Then add it all up! Don’t forget, if you are selling controllers, wipe them down good with a Clorox wipe!

Has anything bad ever happened to you on Friday the 13th?
January 13, 2006 was the last day I ever lived with my mother. The next day I was taken into foster care.
October 13, 2006 was the day I got six teeth pulled.
What about you?
I was born on Friday the 13th. If I wanted to be all emo and whiny, I could say that that was the worse thing to ever happen to me. But that would be stupid.
As far as I can remember, nothing bad has ever happened to me on Friday the 13th.

Directors: Benton Robert
Actors: Freeman Morgan,Kinnear Greg,Burke Billy,Hemingway Toby,Ward Fred,Mentzel Alex,Drama,Romance,
Is it legal to worship a person in the United States due to the first amendment or is this void when personal?
I am asking on behalf of a friend.
My friend, Ed, has this stalker who says she loves him so much that she worships him and says shes building a statue and a temple. At his workplace she donated "tracts" she had written telling how the true religion was the worship of Ed and the only way to heaven was worshiping Ed. She went on to invite people to a service on Saturday to worship Ed and feast in his name.
My friend Ed told her to stop or he would sue her. She said the first amendment to the United States Constitution says that we have freedom of religion and therefore she is free to worship him and evangelize her faith. But I believe there should be an exception since a persons rights are being inflicted upon/
What is the legality of what shes doing? Can anything be done?
This person who is stalking your friend does not understand that religious rights end when they infringe upon the rights of others. Your friend would be absolutely within their rights to bring a court order against the stalker.
Freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom to assembly, are all rights with limits. One cannot claim freedom of religious beliefs if one goes out and kills those they oppose. One cannot claim freedom of religious beliefs if they illegally stalk others, based upon their adoration of those whom they stalk.
It is a matter of secular law and one’s use of religion to counteract those established secular laws is a misuse of religion. But keep in mind that people have been using religion like that for a long, long time, even to starting wars they thought were justified by religion.

True but it’s also called harassment and stalking. Tell him to contact his local police department. A police report and a restraining order sounds like an excellent measure here. He also needs to alert his employer as all employers do not tolerate work place harassment. He’s going to have to be proactive, she sounds like she might have mental issues.

I’m pretty sure if the person doesn’t want to be worshiped then he can sue but if not he can sue her for stalking him.

Ed is a living person right? And not our friend dead Jesus? Look into "Stalker" laws. Find out what they are in your state.

She’s harassing him, which is illegal. She’s taking his private images and putting them out in the public without his consent, which is illegal.
She’s free to worship whoever she wants, but like you said, as long as other people’s rights aren’t being taken away.

at the very least, what she is doing is harassment and i’m sure any judge would put an anti-harassment order against this woman, meaning she can’t have contact with him, and probably would also stipulate given the situation that she can’t contact his workplace, either. i’m sure there’s other legal issues as well, but i don’t know what the legal definition of stalking would be (although this really seems to fit the bill!), and what the legal repercussions are.
this sounds scary, and i suggest your friend contact a lawyer asap.

Wow….I would seriously stay away from that chick. She sounds like a nut bag with homicidal tendencies. If she is for real and not just goofing around, he can have a protection order issued to keep her away from his home and work place and not to get within a specified distance. Sounds like she needs some serious therapy and perhaps maybe some time in a rubber room. Tell your friend Ed to sleep with one eye open. She sounds like the female version of Hannibal.

This stalker sounds like my catholic aunt!LOL

I’m afraid the stalker is right to a certain extent. The United States Constitution does guarantee her the right to worship Ed if she wishes.
HOWEVER, it does not guarantee her the right to express her worship of him in any way she wishes. The Supreme Court has set a very consistent body of precedents on the matter ranging from public prayer to the picketing of funerals by the WBC… your right to believe and worship does not extend into the realm of actions which are harmful to others.
So, your friend has legal grounds to stop her from behaving the way she is behaving. Her behavior has gone past the point of worship and run into the grounds of stalking, so he now has cause to complain to the local authorities and to sue and ask that a restraining order be placed against her to prevent her from "evangelizing" at his work or follow him around and disrupt his life.
Given the circumstances, I would suggest he do so immediately. Her behavior fairly well screams mental imbalance, and it would probably be in everyone’s best interests, the stalker’s included, if the authorities were made aware of the situation so appropriate action can be taken before her obsession with your friend leads her to do something tragic.
